.. Many off them offer HUGE discounts if they think your cancelling. Its worth going through any subscriptions you want to keep to see if you can get massive discounts for the next 3,6 or even 12 months !

Yes, this works. I do this every couple of years with Virgin, Direct Line etc. Always let them know you’re going to shop around for a cheaper price. Not sure it’ll work with energy suppliers at the moment though.
