Hello Doctors. My two years old child cut himself with a rust razor, the cut was not deep but there was a little flow of blood.

The area of the cut was clean with methylated spirit. Can we take him for tetanus injection?

The child vaccination is up to date.

Similar response from professional; he may need booster shots of pentavalent at 18 months. If he is already consistent with his vaccine visit, then there's no need to worry.

Just keep the wound clean and dry.

However if he didn't get any pentavalents shots in the first year if life he needs the tetanus shots asap.

Another similar response; If your concern is about Tetanus toxoid the one your baby took at 6,10 and 14 weeks will still cover the baby.
