What does black poop mean on babies?

Good morning doctors... My baby's poo two coloured poo this morning yellow and black poo. Some part is yellow while some part is black too..

Am worried of the black poo doctors .he's 8 months old.

For the black poo, if the baby is not taking blood tonic or any iron supplements then you need to take her to the hospital as soon as possible to rule out bleeding from the upper part of the intestine.

And also are you taking blood tonic or supplements yourself that can be passed through breast milk? If yes no need to worry. If no there's a need to take your baby to the hospital to have the poo analysed.
