Just in process of building and need help with pool fencing

.. We're planning on glass. Any downsides or alternative suggestions? Any tips or tricks for keeping clean?

All feedback much appreciated.

I was worried about this before getting the glass fencing but honestly it mostly looks after itself (even with magnesium water). We rinse it down every few days when it's getting a lot of use (kids have several splashy swims a day in the summer) and I think I usually hand clean it with a microfibre cloth and glass cloth maybe twice a summer if we are having Christmas at our house or a similar gathering.

Glass is good, it stays fairly clean hubby just hoses and wipes with an old towel.
