Recommendations on really great bar stools?

Let's talk bar stools. I have some beautiful pendant lights above my Island bench so I don't want to take away from those with a busy bar stool.

However functionality and comfort are super important for me.

Our Island bench is 90cm high. The articles I've read recommend 62-72cm floor to seat height. I'm not even sure what I'm asking .

I guess just advice or opinions on picking the right bar stool.

Pictures are a bonus, especially any with pendant lights above the Island bench.

Please. Who knew such a trivial purchase could be so complex!

These are from Ikea. I find they are super functional without detracting from the space at all, since they kinda blend in!

We went with a tan leather look to break up all the white. They are just from eureka.

I renovated and picked stools that matched the closets to my dining chairs, the dining setting sits just to the right of my kitchen. Mine are the same as Britt’s.

My only comment would be make sure they a low enough to get your legs under thebench, and they have a back. Since we entertain at the kitchen often, high chairs with no back support arevery uncomfortable.
