Recommendations for credit cards/travel money cards!

I will be backpacking Europe for the next 6-7 Months coming from Aus.

I was just after everyone's experiences or recommendations for credit cards/travel money cards.

I plan to get to at least 20 countries with multiple currencies.

I used my normal Up debit card last year in Europe and it was amazing! They offer a great conversion rates (always pay in the currency of the country you’re in, never select convert to AUD as the conversion rate won’t be as good) and you won’t be charged for ATM fees. Their banking app is very user friendly too.

I’ve used Commbank travel money cards before and Up was way more cost effective.

I moved over from Australia last September and have been to Germany 3 times in the past months, my Wise card has been brilliant.

I suggest having two bank accounts and most importantly a PayPal account and debit card.

Link the two bank accounts to PayPal.

If you lose or compromise a bank debit card you can still transfer funds from your lost bank card/account to your PayPal debit card account and not lose access to your money.

It saved me in Guatemala
