Hey guys! I’m planning to backpack around Europe at the end of the year, I have $15,000 AUS saved. Will that be enough do you think for accommodation / transport and spending money?

6-8 weeks

I did almost three months and only spent around $4,000 and was fine! That included airfare as well!!! You’ll have a GREAT trip with that budget! Have fun!

That's more than enough. 100euros a day is a good starting point. Depending of the country you can cut that in half.

At 8 weeks or 56 days that is 5,600 Euros. You'll have double that.

I recommend trying to backpack on less money. It gets you closer to the people. Even better of you can afford the time to stay longer.

You're going to have an awesome trip!

Depends how you will be spending it... It can be 1 month or 2 years on that money.

I'm planning 7 weeks with 7000$ (Canadian dollar). It should definitely be enough if you do hostels and don't always eat out.
