I’ve updated the meta data. Worked on the on page. I’m writing articles regularly and trying to build Backlinks.

What else can I be doing? I cannot get it to move from ranking 13 and the client is not getting bookings so I need to do something speedy…

Improving your local SEO for your wedding dress store can help increase your visibility in local search results. Here are some steps to help you improve your local SEO:

Google My Business (GMB): Claim and optimize your Google My Business listing. Ensure that your business information (name, address, phone number, and website) is accurate and up-to-date. Add high-quality photos, business hours, and a detailed description of your store. Encourage customers to leave reviews and respond to them promptly.

Local citations and directories: Submit your business information to local directories and business listings, such as Yelp, Yellow Pages, and any local wedding directories. Consistency in your name, address, and phone number (NAP) is essential for local SEO.

Optimize website content: Include locally-focused keywords in your website content, such as the city, neighborhood, and region where your store is located. Create dedicated pages for each of your services or products, and use local keywords in the title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and body content.

Create local content: Write blog posts or create content around local events, news, or wedding-related topics specific to your area. This can help you rank for locally-focused keywords and establish yourself as a local expert.

Mobile-friendly website: Ensure that your website is mobile-friendly, as most local searches are performed on mobile devices. Use responsive design, optimize images, and improve site speed.

Schema markup: Implement local business schema markup on your website to provide search engines with structured information about your store, which can improve your local search ranking.

Optimize for voice search: As voice search becomes more popular, optimize your content for conversational and long-tail keywords that users might use when searching with voice assistants.

Build quality backlinks: Acquire backlinks from reputable, local websites, such as local news websites, blogs, or event websites. Reach out to local wedding vendors or event planners for collaboration opportunities, and consider guest posting on relevant blogs.

Social media presence: Maintain an active presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, and Twitter. Share your content, engage with your audience, and promote your local presence.

Monitor and analyze: Use tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and other SEO tools to track your progress. Analyze your data to identify areas for improvement and refine your local SEO strategy accordingly.

By implementing these strategies and consistently working on your local SEO, you can improve your ranking in local search results and increase your store's visibility to potential customers.
