HI THERE! I can write ABOUT 3 thousand words per day, yet sometimes on the next day, I don't know what IT IS about. What is your experience, writers? How many words you do?

Depends on how my ADHD is feeling. I can either do 25,000 words in a day with crazy crackhead energy, or I can do a thousand words in a month.
Depends on my mood.

I shoot for 5 to 6 pages which with my handwriting is about 2K, 6 days a week, but I don’t get on me if it doesn’t happen.

I try to set 1000 to 2000 words in a day but (I also work full time, wife, mother) I try not to stress if I don't get it done.

Lately, I've only been writing 100 words a day. Been reading a bit more in an attempt to improve my writing. Or perhaps reading is another form of procrastination for me. I do have the outline and the scenes for at least one book in my head, so whatever I do write, I know serves a point.

In my journal project, I aimed at 500 words per post. After 200 posts, the average was something over 630. I did not let myself plan ahead; the journal posts had to be spontaneous. The experience was more valuable than attending a writing class. P.S. I also wrote using paper and pen.
