This website is fantastic. What more could one asked for, having writers helping one another. I had my first Kindle Edition published on March 6.

So far no reviews, no likes, no sales. The paperback will be on Amazon in a few days. My formatter and publisher are not very knowledgeable and inexperienced , I think. I probable chose the wrong team. The price was $ 500.00

They have been trying for a month without success . They communicate every week, and now I was told that they can publish paperback only, not hard cover. For paperback, Amazon allows 800 pages, but for hardcover, amazon allows only 400 pages.

Is that true? Has anybody experienced the same?

My publisher is KDP book publisher.

Since the hardcover has 700 pages it will have to be two books.

I am using a pen name.

It doesn't take long to upload a manuscript on KDP. Could you give more details? Did you pay someone to publish your book on KDP?

Confusing... you say your publisher is not experienced, but KDP the leading name in the business. Did you hire someone to put your book on KDP?
