Just wondering how much others are paying for similar sized houses?
We have just had our combined electricity and gas bill for the last 3 months. The gas part was £723 Hope the next will be cheaper with the new boiler just fitted and hive. We are a 3 bedroom house.
My husband has RA and can’t take the cold so it is on quite a lot to not trigger his pain.

I paid 700 for 3 months before that was 150. Only have fire place on low setting. 2 bedroom house.
My combined gas and electric bill over the last 3 months has been about £100-£110 a month before the government £67, so a total of £100-£150 for the three month after the government support, about£330 without. Also 3 bed semi that's on the price cap rate. Think I average about 3 kwh a day of electric.
£1100 for gas and electric for Dec, Jan, and Feb after taking taking off what the government gave us I paid just over £800. I’m in a 3 bedroom house my gas heating is on from 7am until 10pm everyday at 20 degrees going up to 21 max .
Feb I used £120 in gas and electric combined, 3 bed detached house, single occupant I working shifts as a nurse.
We have our heating set at 18 at the moment it's on constant so when it drops below it comes in itself, this has been cheaper then turning it up and down and protects the pipes from freezing when we've had snow etc.
280 a month gas and around 250 a month electric, I'm in a 3 bedroom house and out the house from 8.30-5.30 Tuesday to Friday so the heating is only on for an hour in the morning then about in the evening.
Check that’s actual use not estimate my estimated bill was £200 more than my actual usage they are thieves.
I don’t have gas in my house, 3 bed terraced house with Quantum heaters and I was £500 from January 1st till 1 st March. Sounds a lot but we the house is warm 24/7. We are both recently retired so home quite a bit. My neighbour has gas and she sits in house with jacket on during day as she can’t afford to have the heating on all day she’s 74 and shouldn’t have to live worried about being warm.
My usage from December to now, including this month is £400. I am on a fix which ends next month. My heating is on 17° and it's been on constant 24/7 since end of October. It's cheaper for me to leave it on low all the time instead of on and off, few hours here and there.
3 bed ..Gas 47 elec 79 but that's because I'm still on a fixed price and 469 in credit but that's including the 400 from the government.i pay £163 per month as of now...heating on 1 hr in the morning and 3/4 hrs nightly as my son works outside 9 hrs a day..so is chilly when he comes in.weather is getting warmer so it won't be on so often .my hubby has small heat blanket on during the day..keeps him toasty ...I just wear my dressing gown...
Sounds too good to be true but I bought a house in December and had to replace an ancient heating system. Inherited the previous occupants’ pre pay meters. Like most people, I wanted them changed immediately, thinking them an expensive way to pay for energy. But contrary to opinion, I’ve actually found I’m spending less. I pay up front so no scary bill and I’m averaging £140 month for electric and £200 for gas. Heating on in the morning and evening for an hour, off in the daytime. 3 bed bungalow
