My son is in year 11, going through his GSCS, he also has additional needs, he is struggling loads.
I need some encouraging words, I would like to place a different one around his room..
Any ideas please?

The school needs to support both you and your son. Things HAVE to be in place before he takes any exam or test. If they're not in place, they will only add to his pressure. Have a word with them.
I feel you mumma x my son is also special needs and is doing gcse I told him do the best you can that’s all I can ask I didn’t think I’m my wildest dreams he would be doing these I panicked all the way throughout he’s child hood but here we are x
You are enough as you are. Your GCSE's are only a snapshot of what you can do. GSCE's don't define who you are, it may just make the path a little simpler, that's all.
You are amazing. You ARE worth it. The sky is the limits, just reach for it. You can do anything u want in life, just believe in yourself. I love u. I'm proud of u. You give me reason to live, breathe, smile and love.
Hiya. I've got a SEND daughter and she found GCSEs hard. My younger daughter is also currently doing GCSEs. I also work as an assistant educational psychologist and do 1:1 therapeutic work with this age group.
One thing I've always told my daughters and say to children I work is that GCSEs are just one step. I also explain how to get GCSEs with learning difficuties takes so much more work and that their effort counts a lot more than they even realise.
We also make plans for what they want to do, which include sometimes having to re-take Maths and English.
I graduated from the Open University aged 48 and know so many people who didn't have GCSEs and still studied and went on to do amazing.
Just be a bit careful with positive statements, because they can sometimes sound a bit hollow. Things like everyone can achieve their dreams can be a bit intimidating. From my work teenagers have told me these phrases sound good: keep going, we know how hard you're working, I am proud of you for doing your best, there's more than one way to get to what you want, GCSEs are not the end of it - it's just one step,
Also, just for you, it's totally OK to be on tenter hooks for your son. I really do get. You're just being human and being a good mum. Get yourselves ready with plans A to Z for what you'll do on results day (and that includes for yourself too).
Best of luck. You got this. xx

Have a look into law of attraction, you will find loads of positive affirmations, just keep in mind that the brain doesn’t differentiate from negative or positive so try to avoid positive affirmations with negative wording in it. For example the “wolf does not worry about the opinions of sheep”.
This can be deemed a positive affirmation but the dose not worry is negative wording. Along with law of attraction they speak of reminding yourself of gratitude, do this is really good because it can help with negative feelings. Law of attraction has really helped me personally with having a more positive outlook on life & helped me through a rough year where I suffered hugely with depression. If you start researching you’ll find a lot of celebrities use this too & Jim carry for example did one where he wrote himself a check for however million in 5 years & he achieved it. On YouTube Abraham hicks is a good place to start. It seems a bit whacky when you first start listening but just take from it what you feel can be useful to your child.
