Good morning our able doctors. Please I have a concern. My baby boy of 8 months and two weeks has 4 teeth (2 upper teeth and two lower teeth). He bites me a lot while I breastfeed him. What can I do to stop him?. Thank you.

Sorry for the bite.

To handle the nipple bite, always make sure the nipples and a big part of the areola of the breasts are pushed into the mouth when breastfeeding so as to avoid the baby sucking or biting on your nipples.

Gently tap your baby whenever he bites you and it will stop eventually.
