Here’s my dilemma.

What do I do now?

This am I was in a petrol station and accidentally rolled my car back into a magazine rack.

The man asked for my details which I gave.

No damage to my car or rack. What I could see.

What do I do now?

Do I wait for Asda who’s paper/magazine rack it was to call me?

Do I report it to my insurance?

I'd contact them to find out if they are pursuing it, if not I wouldn't tell the insurer, even if they are I'd offer to pay yourself. Prob less than the premium rise next year if you go through ins. Technically though you should tell them.

If it’s just a magazine rack you might want to just pay for it yourself. It’s probably less than your deductible and you won’t lose your no claims bonus etc. Did you take a picture?

They may not even contact you but I wouldn't be going through insurance. Hope you took photos of the rack.

He took your details to protect himself company policy probably not hear anything else. No damage to either party so nothing to worry about.

As lots of others have said, go back and get a photo of the undamaged rack just to cover yourself and take a photo of your car then forget about it.
It’s highly unlikely that you will hear from them again but if you do you have photographic evidence that no damage was caused.
Don’t worry about it.

Don’t report to your insurance Asda may not ever contact you and your insurance will know and it’ll go against you when you come to renew.

He probably only took your details for store policy, I doubt they will contact you especially if you didn't break it.

I’d have taken pics of the rack and my car to prove no damage. Now you’ve given your details to a stranger.

Nothing to report. If they try anything, get CCTV from them to prove it. I wouldn’t give it another thought. If you can go back and take a photo of the rack do it for your own peace of mind.
