Any tips for cheaper car insurance?

I've noticed a increase this year, this is even with sopping around. Its not due for a month so I have a little bit of time. Debating taking out a 0% interest credit card to pay for it all annually.

It may not be you as to why its gone up. Hubby's van insurance went up due the the area we live in having trouble with break ins or more trouble so more people claiming.

Always do it 28 days before renewal date it’s cheaper it will go up the later u leave it.

Call up your insurer to knock them down. Either way, pay in full if you're able as the interest is high. Another card will be a good shout if you're generally on top of your finances.

It is definitely worth looking into paying annually if you can it will be a lot cheaper, also Is there a person in your house you can add as an additional driver, I added my brother and mine dropped my £20 so worth checking even if they won't drive it,
