We looked at two and choose the cheaper one. The other had a higher spec but was £100 more.
Today the higher spec one has been reduced by £139
I called Curry's and they said as it's been unboxed and used (seal is broken) it's unlikely it will be exchanged but it's the discretion of the store manager.
Before I go back to Currys does anyone have any advice or experience with this?
Yesterday I bought a laptop from Curry's for my daughter
Tell them it keeps cutting out. Impossible to test on the spot. Faulty goods act refund. You’re welcome.
For the Karen’s. Save it. No one is forcing my methods.

Take it back to the store and explain she needs it for school and you cant really afford it could and you have now seen its alot cheaper.
It's called fraud ,don't you realise they might see your post, there might be a curry's worker see your post, and report you.
Yes thats right as theres nothing wrong with the 1 u got so its up to the shop i doubt they will take it back as its classed as used now x
Curry’s sent mine away to be tested, 10 days later I got a call to say it was definitely faulty and I got a brand new replacement (like for like)
I got a Chromebook and took it back simply because I didn't like it. They refunded me as well. I shouldn't think you'd have any problems with swapping. Good Luck x
It's sods law, these things happen and it's down to store discretion as the laptop can not be sold as new.
If you go down the fault route the retailer are entitled to confirm a fault and this may mean sending it away to the manufacturer.

Electronics can develop an “ intermittent “ fault. It works fine for a time and then freezes.. So a faulty device will need replacing/ refunding.
