You can use either of them.
As long as the temp of the AC is regulated and the baby is not directly beneath the fan.
Do not use both fan and AC together, when using Fan, make sure the fan is rotating; windows are open and the baby is not directly under or facing the fan. Just make sure there is cross-ventilation.
For AC, set temp at comfortable like 24 or 25.....not too cold and not hot either.
