Should we try the digestive health formula?

2 of my dogs alternate between purina one chicken and rice recipe and purina one large breed hip and joint support but I’ve noticed it makes both of them gassy and upsets their stomachs occasionally. All of my dogs rest for at least 1 hour after eating so it isn’t from them running around after eating. We’ve tried the lamb and rice formula as well but that upset their stomachs even worse. They’ve done perfectly fine on chicken flavored foods from other brands so I know it isn’t that either.

Has anyone else had this issue? Should we try the digestive health formula, a different formula, or just a different brand altogether? Would adding a gut health supplement help? If anyone has any suggestions I’d like to stay within that price range (~$55/40lb bag).

I personally find anything with chicken for my boy is bad news. I tend to stick with beef or fish.

Try the sensitive skin and stomach salmon formula. We have no issues with that one. We did experience gas even with this formula on the large breed. Not sure why but back to the regular size kibble and it’s fine.
