Every couple years he has flair ups. My vet wants to keep giving him the lymes vaccine, dose it even do anything since he already has lymes?

The vet says in his experience the dogs he has given it to has had no problems.

He already got it once and has it again needs to be put on antibiotics.

He says it because he didn’t keep up on the vaccine which make no since to me since he already has it.

He is an old dog and sensitive to medications.

I would rather not take the chance of side affects if it’s not going to do anything.

The vaccine helps with sub clinical symptoms and helps with the arthritis that comes with Lyme. It is very beneficial for dogs that are positive for Lyme and helps prevent flareups, so your veterinarian is absolutely correct.

Yes, get it. It will actually help with the issues associated with it.
