Our builder calls it mouldings.

There is no doubt a proper name for a front facade details like that. But I don’t know what it is. And if you don’t find the answer show him the pics and maybe use the words ‘like an external dado rail’.

What you're showing is called moulding and they can be in a decorative foam. A Corbel can also be decorative architectural pieces used inside and outside.

Foam render. We recently had it added to our home (house was built 17 years ago) it has added a wonderful Hamptons charm but also $$ to the value. You won't be disappointed.

My builder just flipped the brick and made a thinner profile one.
But then later on I’ve added decorative mouldings with a company.

It’s called a corbal. Hope that helps. Can be the same colour as lower render or a feature in contrast colour.
