Thinking of getting my mum flowers for mother's day. Best place on Internet please?
The only problem with sending flowers is that usually they’re in bud when delivered so don’t look anything special. But they do last a lot longer this way. But I’m all about the “Wow” when the recipient first see them...
Mark’s and spenders are doing a gorgeous bouquet and it’s £25 at mo with a £5 off. Originally £30. It’s stunning . I ordered one for my mum x
Lovely idea, buy choccies for the day, and flowers a week or so afterwards. They'll be good the week after and around 75% than they'll be on the day.
I've never had a good experience with marks and Spencer. Their couriers are Yodel and really dire. I've had to complain about 3 different floral displays in the last 12 months... so give them a miss.
Don't use Serenata flowers! I used this a few weeks ago. The flowers were dead, looked nothing like the pictures etc. Thankfully after alot of emails and pictures they gave me a refund.
I've had 2 lovely gifts from bloom and wild they come through the post in a box, all in bud, At first because they are in bud it does not look anything, but once they start to open its lovely the colours are so nice.... its worth having a look I got mine 15th Feb and are still OK, you also get instructions a 2 packets of food.
Look at Groupon- This morning I bought a 50% off voucher for iflowers for £4. Went on their site and used Groupon code, purchased a beautiful £34 bunch for £17 pounds included free delivery. So £17 +£4 = £21 in total which I’m very happy with. Was really easy to use & arranged delivery to my mums address for Mother’s Day.
I’ve stopped buying flowers off internet as they were not in very good condition & lasted barely a week - interflora ate the worst - I buy from Morrison’s as they have someone there who will make the flowers you choose into a beautiful bouquet for an extra £2 & they last ages.
I have the best soap flowers not when they don't wither. and candy flowers. a great gift you take the soap and use it and the bouquet remains in the same form is beautiful. and also with a candy composition- low pricie.
Bloom and wild defo. My friend got me some when my dad died. We couldn't see each other and they came delivered flat packed in a box. Fit in two vases and lasted ages. Looked gorgeous!
I just had flowers delivered to my mother in law from Amazon and she was amazed they were so beautiful and she says 9 days later they are as fresh as the day she got them.
Don’t use Eflorist, I sent my mam some from there and they were all dried up by the time they got there. Use a local florist and they will deliver them fresh rather than a courier company with them in the van for hours on end.
Use a local florist. Ring them, tell them what you want & they’ll be better than the internet plus fresher. They’d probably be grateful for the order too. That’s what I’ve been doing for the last 12mths for female birthdays.
Honestly go to the supermarkets, my partner has bought me flowers from florests and he's spent £50+ for them just to last a week, but I told him just buy me ones from the supermarket as I've found they last, he's done that and 2 weeks ago I binned (because they were dying) carnations and 2 roses from a bunch that he bought me from my daughters for CHRISTMAS!!! Buy the flowers that are only just coming out of the bud, cut just above or below the knuckles of the stem, and then after 5 days- 7 days change the water and cut them another inch, will keep them fresh and they will last so long!! X
bloom and wild are ace they may look dead in arrival but follow the sheet place in water add the food and overnight magic happens they open up and blossom into two nearly three weeks worth of beautiful flowers.
