Has anyone ever ordered flowers from Moonpig? Just wondered if they were worth the money?
I had some in January, the box was big enough to hide a 10-year-old child. Opened it it had a card, Thornton's chocolates (box 12), balloon & flowers (12? Lasted less than 1 week) Don't know how much was paid but feel sure money would have gone further using a local high street florist (ordered over the phone.... same as Moonpig really). I really appreciated them but don't rate them as value for money. Shop around first
Moon pig flowers are terrible in my experience the bouquet my children sent me were awful we complained and they sent a replacement bouquet that were no better than the first would never use them again a lot of the buds were open the petals were bruised and broken I’ve thrown better away.
its hit and miss. a local florist we have used for yrs particular for mother's day or funeral flower etc so have had alot if money butnif us I guess over the yrs. I asked for flowers for mums 60th a few yrs ago and I paid higher than I normally would so around 30 pound. plus 5 to have delivered even though just five minutes down the road but when they came I could 8f g8t more flowers in a 10-pound bouquet from morrisons got the oasis for the arrangement some flower wire and either done myself 8r had help to do it. I apologised to my mum. she loved the flowers as the colours was beautiful. yes it was lovely. b7t yes ago for that sort of price u would of had no gaping. or they would of filled the gaps up a bit with ribbons or like foliage and gysophelia. b7t they didn't. or they would make it slightly smaller arrangement si the amount if flowers filled the arrangement so when they came out they bunched and looked a fuller arrangement. but no I wint be getting them from there again. I've honestly had better bouquet from morrisons.s but if I wanna get flowers delivered I would go to bloom and wild as beautiful and last long time I tried seronata flowers but apparently not many in a box. n8t as shown in photo. it should of been like 20 stems 9f flowers with foliage but only 6 stems with few leaves turned up. that example. as cant remember exact details now. b7t wouldnt use again. x
Allow plenty of time for delivery, Royal Mail is really busy with the lockdown and a lot of delivery offices have had 2/3 rds of their staff isolating. Double check the address and postcode (we've a lot of casual workers who are unsure of districts). If the flowers are delayed because of the wrong address, they could end up in a mail centre or delivery office all weekend without water. They're so expensive! I hate to see flowers on a Saturday morning that have turned up in the North East but have the wrong postcode and there's no way of getting them back down the country by morning. Moonpig normally say how many days you should order before delivery.
Twice I’ve ordered a card and a gift together for a present and both times the card has arrived the day after the gift. Which has spoilt the impact for the person. Also one of the deliveries I ordered was a card and a balloon. The balloon had no option for ‘from’ details to go on it so my niece didn’t know balloon was from us as the personalised card came the next day.
I've had two different lots from moon pig from my grandson both arrived in a very cool condition the next day both bunches were dead I usually get at least three weeks out of my flowers one bunch I thought might just be one of those things but the second bunch a year later was the same waste of money.
