The more I read English essays_ for instance_ the more I get tightly aware that people are all alIke. Let us get more close to each other. We do all sleep and awake, eat and drink, feel sad, happy,... Let's clear away whatever that doesn't stand as important issue. We've to honestly think of all that we've and put away fake and hurtful choices.

I don't think this person meant we are all alike. What I think he means that in spite of our differences, perhaps we should focus on our commonalities for greater understanding.
