Moment to be honest… My towels are over 15 years old, they were not cheap and are now falling apart but I feel they were a good buy.

Can anyone suggest where I can buy replacements which will be as hard wearing as these?

I don’t want to spend a fortune if they won’t last.

Bonus if they do them in olive green.

Thank you in advance.

I've had some from Dunelm that I bought over 10 years ago, and they are still going strong, although they have faded slightly with all of the washing over the years. They were a good price, and they have bath towels, hand towels, flannels, bath mats and huge bath sheets. Hope this helps.

Some of my towels are 40 years old (I admit I have a lot so they are not used all of the time). They were bundles of Zorbit made by Ashton Brothers in Hyde. They are still available if you Google them x

A few days ago, I noticed some lovely fluffy, thick towels at Sainsbury's, a bath sheet for £6 - £9, special offer. Deep turquoise, or silver grey, etc., (When I'd tried to buy similar 18 months ago as a gift, M&S, Tesco, Sains, none available with a thick pile) Best wishes.

I bought some towels about 17 years ago from TK Maxx. I can't remember the brand, but there still going strong.

Most of my towels came from Matalan and Dunelm 20 plus years ago. But I do have some Christie's ones and some of my mum's that are many years older than that.

Christy towels last forever. Mine are 20 yrs old & still good. They are expensive but worth it. Perhaps you can find some on offer somewhere.

They are on offer on Christy website.

I have a set bath sheets, Bath towels and hand towels I bought about 30 years ago on the market stall at Blackpool indoor market. The towels have outlasted the market and still going strong slightly faded but still lovely and soft and still years more wear in them.

I’m gonna be honest-I’ve bought my towels for a theme-wanted all colours of the rainbow-I started the year of the beast of the east but I still haven’t got green and indigo-but they were all Asda and they are going strong.
