Good morning Doctors. My baby is 1yr 7months, l did exclusive breastfeeding he was eating very well but these past three months he's been giving me a hard time he doesn't want to eat unless I'm not around.
He want's to breast feed all the time and if you don't give he get upset now l can't even go to church because he want the breast out always and refuse to eat.
I'm asking if l can stop breastfeeding him will be okay?
I wished to reach 2 years.
Bw 2,5 cw 9,9kg.

– Start when you are emotionally ready (mother-led weaning).
– Start when your infant/toddler is emotionally ready (baby-led and less problems).
– Make sure you have a good support system (dad, grandma, nanny to help).
– Do not to stop breastfeeding abruptly (a gradual approach is the best).
– Reduce the frequency and duration of breast feeding gradually.
Remember that milk production is dependent on the sucking reflex (baby sucking).
