My 3 yr old has mold toxicity and I started giving it to her as requested by the doctor BUT a drop fell on her skin, I didn't clean it off till the next day and it left a hole in her skin.

Now I read it can give ulcers and I'm so scared! Is that for even really small dosages or just for long term use?

If in any doubt, don’t! Do your research first.
The doctors aren’t always right.

It's good and bad. I have taken it on and off for decades but it's not a long term thing. Its quite safe for children and I have even given it to my cats and dogs. Over time it can interfere with absorption of nutrients from food. It can also cause constipation if abused. It's so important to take it between meals. It's very quick acting. I have never read about it causing ulcers but it's possible if one abuses any oral medication. It is in fact sometimes used to treat ulcers.

In Europe they use it in hospitals for food poisoning and overdoses in adults and children.

Maybe do one or two doses of charcoal and then move on to saccromysis boulardi ( read about that) it's super safe for kids. Saccromysis target mold and candida. It won't have side effects islef but the die off of the mold itself could cause discomfort. There's no getting around it. So go very slow. It's also important to stay away from all sugars and processed carbs because they will slow down the healing.
