.. 3 of the four walls look great, but on one wall, I just can’t seem to avoid streaks - any tips?

It may not be too big a deal as this wall will have a TV and some shelving, but at the moment, the streaks are grating on us a lot!!

Thanks in advance!

And put a light fitting in place which neutralises the effect of the sunlight, or maybe a curtain/blind.

Also - Is this wall warm from getting the sun? Paint might be drying too quickly as you’re rolling it.

Looks like nap of the sleeve you're using isn't thick enough. Like its not holding enough paint. So its drying fast. Try adding some water to the paint and put a lot more on.

Is the paint low sheen? Maybe you might have better luck with Matt paint. This is also the problem when the light hits the wall. I find my walls perpendicular to the light from the west shows everything.

My recommendation is use a new 10 nap microfibre roller and do sections from top to bottom in sections that are about a meter wide.

You tend to get the marks when you go over a section you have just painted and ones that are starting to dry. There is a video on the Dulux website that shows the best technique to paint.

You paint in small sections, maybe 1 meter, in big w shape from top to bottom and then with the same roller, go over once from top to bottom.

I think the important thing is once you complete one section, don’t be tempted to go over it otherwise you can get the orange peel effect or your removing paint from the wall.
