.. My vanity is floor standing. Do you tile behind the vanity?

My old one didn't but my plumber has suggested it.

Yes definitely, makes life so much easier if you decide to change vanities later down the track plus it’s a bit extra waterproofing in case of accidents.

I did a complete gut of my bathroom and had floor tiles covering entire floor and floor to ceiling tiles then the bath shower vanity toilet etc went in.
