Will my enclosed carport get too hot in the summer if the greenhouse is placed next to it, like a lean to?

I will be enclosing my carport and was thinking of adding my greenhouse to the left of the carport.

I would continue the slope to the south, then have a wall. To the right is my kitchen, which is north.

I am in SE Kansas zone 6B, but it does get hot and dry in the summer. Building a greenhouse more so my plants survive the dry summers.

I want to have a place for my cattery in the carport.

They will love the heat in the winter, but being long hair they might get too hot.

Can your enclosed cattery be built with screens that you cover during the winter? Also, re dry weather, I'd add rain barrels on each end of the slope. I've actually got 3 55 gallon rain barrels in series, set up so that the overflow from the 1st goes into the 2nd & its overflow goes into the 3rd. There are spigots at the base of each rain barrel.

You’d need shade cloths, fans/ misters, and drip irrigation. It might work. But your water bill might outweigh savings of growing your own food.
