We are going in June. Any advice?

NOTE: I always suffer altitude sickness when I first arrive in Mammoth.

Assuming you are flying into Quito, give yourself plenty of time to acclimate to the altitude and drink lots of water. Like 13 glasses over the course of one meal a lot of water. It will help with any altitude sickness. And if you feel the twinge of a headache coming on, you got it, drink water. A lot of people struggle with the altitude change in Quito so while the view from the Teleferiqo is stunning, it is a better 2nd or 3rd day activity than 1st.

Headed there in 2 weeks. Taking a tour to go to Equator, Market, and various beautiful churches/architecture there. Then flying down to Cuenca and traveling around that area to the beach, petrified forest, panama hat factory, etc. Love the fact that it is US currency.

If you can afford to go to the Galapagos please do. It's one of the most unique and amazing places on this planet.

What sort of thing do you enjoy? Then I can point you to places in Ecuador?

In Quito, do the graffiti free walking tour (the one that meets at the Swissotel).
