I have a question regarding the visas for Philippines and Indonesia

Does the 30 day start from the day you arrive or the day after?

If I arrived on the 1st May would I have until the 30th or 31st.

Ever country you visit will validate your visa from the day you enter so when you arrive on the first, they count it from that day but in most countries they are quite generous and don't want to strictly calculate and just go from 1st to 1st.

If they are strict about it, your visa expires on May 30th.
