Has anyone took their kids on a Safari holiday in Africa?

If so recommendations for companies, countries, time of year etc

It's something I've always wanted to do and after a tough year with my health I've decided to just book it & save hard for next few years. I thought I'd ask for recommendations first before booking with a company.

My parents wanted to go away on their bucket list holiday to Africa and I said I'd help them to book it. I know NOTHING about safari holidays but got in touch with a travel agency called Expert Africa.

They were absolutely wonderful, really listened to my parents holiday wishes and put tother the perfect safari for them. I'm sure if you were to speak to them they could give you some family friendly recommendations.

The time of year is important. You don't want to go in full African summer as animals seek shade and you won't see them. Spring is a lovely time as not too hot, but they're also not in winter mode. Autumn is also good. Remember their seasons are opposite to ours too. Enjoy, I miss home so much. Its beautiful and holiday you'll never forget.

Safaris sounds amazing but also something to keep in mind is Disney animal kingdom lodges we went last week and felt like we were on a safari
