.. ages between 5 & 12. We've looked at Calypso cove or alton towers so far.. but would like recommendations?

Calypso cove is great, alphamere in Scarborough was amazing though. Not tried Alton towers.

Altona towers is fab. We took a 13, 7 and 2 year old and to be fair us adults loved it equally as much.

Calypso cove is fab for all ages. My daughter had her birthday party there.
Can't comment on Alton towers as not done their water park.

Not been to Alton but told it’s great. Don’t waste petrol to Calypso it’s not thing special. Have a look at Dome in Doncaster or sandcastle at Blackpool is great for all ages (over a hour away)
