I’m considering a solo trip this summer, it’s something I’ve always wanted to do & I want to do it whilst I can
I’d like to go abroad, not too long a flight, not too expensive, somewhere I’ll feel safe, nice beaches, cute little cafes/bars & somewhere with a bit of a quirky vibe!
I know… I’m not asking for much!
Can anybody recommend somewhere that will tick all of these boxes?

Croatia, Pula was really nice I went alone with my kids and felt safe, airport transfer is quick, the city and old town are beautiful, lots of bars and cafes, brijuni islands to explore by boat trips... We stayed in verudela peninsula about 10 mins away from city as has lovely shingle beaches with beautiful clear water.
Dubrovnik, Croatia. Absolutely beautiful! 3hrs flight from UK and not too expensive.
Can also do day trips on the bus with groups to Mostar in Bosnia and Kotor in Montenegro from there xxx

I travelled solo to a alot of places and enjoyed them all and felt safe in all, Corfu, Crete, Lanzarote, Malta, Cyprus, Spain, Gibraltar.
Just back from Madeira, felt very safe, beautiful place, lots of lovely bars and restaurants, and the flight only cost £30 with Ryanair.
My friend goes to Croatia, she flies to either dubrovnik or split then island hops staying mainly in hostels etc xx
What about going on a cruise? You can visit a range of places to get the feel of them before committing to a longer stay in one location. As usually the passengers stay the same throughout the voyage, you might meet some other solo travellers or make some trip friends, that could make visiting new places on your own less daunting.
Malaga is lovely for this! Gorgeous city- lots of lovely places for tapas. Minimal transfer time (airport is 10 mins away from where I stay) lovely beach, Picasso museum. Always feel safe there
Nice - fabulous. You can get the train to Cannes so easily and it is wonderful to walk/cafes and beach. Or train to Monaco if you want to explore. Have been in Nice by self many times.
