.. This is the hardest part of the entire thing! This space is driving me nuts.
The cupboard in the corner houses my hot water system so there for I need access to the bottom and need room in front of it that can not be a permanent fixture for when it needs replacing/servicing so on buttt I want a laundry area like the picture.
The cabinet maker is thinking of putting a removable stone piece over a front loader washer (like example pictures) so the washer can be moved out and the stone top removed. How do we go about putting something to hold stone top up on cupboard end?
I don’t mind a gap between.

Thank you
Help needed! So I’m renovating the bathroom and also the laundry area in my apartment
Switch from traditional hot water unit to an instant hot water unit, about the size of a bathroom mirror cupboard. We have 3 in our 2 storey 5 bedroom home (1 upstairs for both upstairs bathrooms, 1 downstairs for bathroom + laundry and one under the kitchen sink that can go to a higher temperature), they're great!
The only way is a front loader.
Then you can either relocate your hot water unit or opt for an instantaneous one which is tiny and can be placed more conveniently.

Remove the sink and use the vanity area instead for laundry.
Just get a deeper sink in there. Move the washing machine where the sink is now and then build something where the bench swings out and on wheels. Hard to explain.
I wouldn't use stone but maybe laminate. Or maybe put a piece of timber on the wall on either side and sit the bench on top from cupboard to wall.
Then you can put your machine under and have space under bench for laundry baskets.

So you really need the laundry tub? How often do you use it?
Maybe just stack the washer and dryer to the right of that space and put a set of storage shelves/cabinet on wheels in front of the access door or even a standard height cabinet on wheels and you could still have your stone top, you could even have your laundry hamper built in to the cabinet. You already have a standard basin as well as the tub if you really need to hand wash or soak something.
I’ve been designing my own tiny home and I’ve completely left out the tub as it’s not something I use very often and for that odd occasion a flexible plastic tub can be used to soak stuff.

Could u run an only electric instant hot water system? It's costly, but I reckon it's worth it.
I had a hotwater system that I didn't change... slightly regretting it as I could have used the space. My apartment is small too.

There is such little space compares to your inspo pics.
When you put a front loader in there you can use the top of that but due to the dryer placement, there’s very little space on top of your washer.
If it were me. I’d just get a front loader & use the top of the washer as your bench space.
