Has anyone used Dulux vivid white or Taubmans cloud white (tintless white) on interior walls?
We have vivid white throughout our house. We don't like whites with yellow undertones but rather blue undertones. Most of the house was painted 6 years ago and it has faded to look like the first photo which we like.
We recently painted a new room in the same colour and were surprised to see that it is more blue than white (see second photo). We prefer the faded look so will be going quarter or half strength next time.

We used Dulux. Our painter said it did not cover well and needed extra coats. Next time we need to use a tinted colour.
Non tinted whites always need extra coats to cover. If you can find something with even the tiniest of tint it will cover better. Also, as others have pointed out, as time goes by bases change and even though it is not a tinted paint you will still see significant differences.
