Talk to me about the best options for window coverings/blinds for alfresco sliding doors?

The house we’re buying currently has curtains, and as one side is the kitchen, I’m not a fan of curtains in there.

We have these sliding panel blinds on our sliding doors and as you can see, plantation shutters on other windows.
I’m not actually a fan though as they are the wrong colour since we’ve painted. I’m thinking of sheers.

We’ve done sheet eyelet curtains on a rod. I sewed the two curtains together so it would be one long/wide piece. So easy to quickly open and close. The rest of our house had timber look venetians. This was a rental so couldn’t do anything about the kitchen!
