I have just installed my kitchen and have mostly draws that are “soft closing”.. They supplied handled but I do not want to put them on.. I have tried to install the “push to close” additions that you can get from Bunnings but they need to ge able to pressed in to close which does not work with my cupboard.

Has anyone got a solution other than to replace the draw runners…

As a cabinet maker. Push to open sux. I have put Push to open on kitchens etc. Then I have been back to change them to handles.
Blum do make a tip on soft close drawers. I nice handle can really make the kitchen. Some times with no handles can look plan.

Look at the draw handles that sit just slightly out the top of the draw.

We just installed bunnings cabinets....we set the drawer runners a bit forward of the intended position to make the push to open work.

ABI Interiors have some stunning slim line handles in amazing colours. I went with a little nib (not sure what to call it) which was installed as part of the build of the kitchen though. I love it but it’s not very deep so am often breaking nails 🙄 trying to open draws! I am now very aware opening the draws!

FYI - These handles are not from ABI, but they do have some amazing ones!

I don't know if this makes much difference, although I had a kitchen pre-made and had all cupboards push to open/close. They used the "Blum" brand. I recall buying one from Bunnings to replace and it was useless. Perhaps worth finding some or at least one to try. Unsure where you can purchase directly though. Online should be easy enough!
