Should I paint this hall table white or buy a new white one?

When we bought our house everything was red black and white I’m slowly changing it to softer colours. Should I paint this hall table white or buy a new white one?

The floor tiles are shiny white. Open to any suggestions.

Even a light grey or navy could look nice. It’s a good looking table.

Paint it white if your good at painting ( spray ) if it's no good then buy one.

Buy a new one in a matt white. Yeh get rid of all the red, it’s a harsh & outdated color for a relaxing home.

Get some very cheap fabric from Spotlight in black, white and maybe navy (as people seem to like that as an option) then create makeshift table runners (just fold the material over - no need to sew) and you’ll get a better idea of what might look good in the space which will help if you decide to paint or buy!
