We are planning to travel to Greece and Turkey in the middle of October

Depends where. We had horrific weather in Turkey in October a few years ago.

We went to Crete in October and it was 25ish in the day time, was perfect for us.

I have been to.both in October, Antalya area in Turkey will be the hottest. I go every year.

October is beautiful during the day in turkey but gets chilly at night thr further you go into the month I always go October.
