Hi guys. We are visiting London for the weekend next month. My son is 12 and so from what I understand we will have to pay on the tube for him.

Hubby and I are going to just swipe our debit cards but what’s the best thing for my son? Is it a day travel card?

Buy an oyster card and ask guard at station to apply a young person discount to it. They will then get half price travel.

Just buy a oyster card for him and top it up hun. Once he's using on 3 buses or trains it's gos on to a day pass and take no more money frm it..
