I have a technical issue using Word – I cannot print the document

Just finished a novel and shared it with my copy editor who made comments. Now I cannot print the document without a grey area on the right side where the comments were.

Any idea how to fix it?

Can't get to a live person from Microsoft.

I believe in the 'review' ribbon there is an option to 'show comments' that might need to be toggled to stop it printing the comment pane.

To remove the comments and print the document without the grey area, try accepting all changes and deleting all comments in the "Review" tab, or copying the text into a new document. If the issue persists, contact Microsoft support.
