What are your thoughts on A.I Generated Content?
I think it's like any other technological advancement. Bit silly to ignore.
Rejecting it doesn't feel all too dissimilar from rejecting the printing press because hand copying things is more authentic it's all in the use.

I've considered the possibility of using it for my next book if I need a little help meeting my word count. BUT I would use it to generate ideas to explore. My next book is on hoarding, and while I think I have enough material for the memoir, it wouldn't hurt to explore questions I hadn't thought of. My first go-to will be keyword searching on Google, though. I will only really consider AI if my personal research falls short. I think in this situation, that is the best use for AI. After all, it can't tell me about my own experiences with hoarding. It can help me out with finding statistics on the subjects, but I can do that with a bit of Googling. AI is probably just faster at it.
AI can be useful for research just as the great artists used apprentices to do the broad painting of a canvas for example while the masters focused on the detailed painting. Imagine if Einstein had AI at his disposal to do thousands of calculations giving him more time to devlop theories.
AI doesn't currently create anything. These programs like ChatGPT only take your input and matches words and phrases to the most commonly following words and phrases and puts them in mostly grammatically correct order.
It isn't Skynet, it's super fancy auto-complete.
They can not be creative. They are only a threat to writers currently making a living pounding out clickbait articles.

Most shows and marvel movies would be better if written by AI.
And AI might have made rings of power watchable and Velma feel like a scooby doo show, or written a story for shadowlands that wasn't total nonsense garbage.
So I am in favour of more AI content if it means we get a higher standard of writing than what human "writers" are spitting out.
Heck, an AI would probably have made captain Marvel and she-hulk actually rounded characters!

Depends on what it's used for. If people are using it to make money or gain clout, it's immoral. If you're just using it for fun and not trying to become popular or rich from it, then I don't see anything wrong with it. But if you are PAYING for art, then you should be commissioning a human artist.
A big problem with AI is that it takes away opportunities from real content creators (art, writing, etc.). It's my opinion that people should write their own books; we shouldn't be replaced by machines.
Authors write their own books, they don’t use a program to do it for them. AI is having a negative impact on education, the entertainment industry and breaking hundreds of copyright the founder of ChatGRP actually apologized to the the House this week because of the negative impact it has had in the class room providing students in high school and college a way out of work. AI needs to be regulated and people who want to be a writer or playwright need to try writing their own books and scripts on their own rather then letting a program do it for them.
This is one of the big reasons why the Writers Guild of America is on strike right now. They want protections against AI content.
Is the AI going to make money off it? Would you take content from another human to use as your own? Then don't use someone/anything's content.
I was accused of using an AI for just responding to a post on Facebook. This added to the depression I'm already feeling about how Ai is consuming our value. What is sad is too many people are rooting for it to happen cheering as humanity collapses. Or they just shrug it off and compare it to the invention of a car or calculator.
A law that requires the user to put a note on their work when it contains ai material, so that buyers know and hopefully avoid it.
Boxed cake mixes didn’t replace all the bakeries. Anyone can bake a cake. But we still appreciate those works of art that only a professional can create. And somehow, we all seem to know the difference.
