2 are in pots; 2 directly in the ground in partial shade.
Something has been munching on the leaves too!
Any advice would be great x
None of my Peony plants have flowered this year
They probably need more sun. When planted, the rhizome must be hardly above ground level, no water on the foliage.
Mine are on their second year. I only had a flower on each plant last summer and they’re having a blast this year (I already cut a few stems for bouquets).
They’re full south, 2 plants a foot appart near strawberries and tomatoes (close watering patterns).
Hang on they’re so beautiful.

Cant plant more than 5cm.
Need all the sun they can get, need lots to drink.
They can take upto 1-3yrs to bloom
I have 8, all have buds forming - first year for flowering for 7, been planted for 2yrs.
I've only seen my bowl of beauty bloom so far.

The roots like to be near the top of the soil not very deep. They love full sun I moved and mines in a different spot now and flowered this year.
I started to not like peonies. I got three from two different garden centers thinking they are professional and they know how deep it should be planted. But none of them gave flowers. So i have lost all my faith in peonies. 1 out of 5 flowering is a bad ratio. I rather give those pots to more deserving plants
