Hop over to Langkawi from Penang too if you have a few days. We actually preferred Langkawi to Bali.
You can travel to all those countries on your British (I'm assuming) passport, entry allowed on a social visit for up to 6 months. No additional documents required. Jabs wise we've never taken anything special but speak to your GP if you have concerns / medical reasons. If you're going to any jungles, then perhaps malaria tablets.
