When should I worry about toddler eye discharge?

My baby of 1 years and 10 months. His eyes have been bringing out more thick yellow discharge and the eyes are light red since Friday up till this morning. When he woke up from sleep and also when he's not sleeping.

Please Dr, is it normal or its need medical attention?

If your baby is having red eyes with discharge, that's most likely bacteria conjunctivitis and it will need antibiotics eyedrops.

Kindly see a doctor who can give you appropriate eyedrops. Kindly only use what a professional recommends. Also clean the eyes with clean water and face towel or handkerchief.
