Any advice before traveling to Malaysia or Indonesia?

Can't decide of going to either Malaysia or Indonesia, any advice?

Want to see wildlife, nature and beaches.

I’ve been to Borneo in Sabah for the diving which was amazing and also Indonesia on Sumatra…

I went there over 20 years ago but I think it’s still quite untouched as I hear few people seem to travel there.Both had all the things you were looking for x

I would say Borneo too. Haven't been to Kalimantan but seen there’s good marine wildlife on the eastern side. Sabah in Borneo is incredible

Indonesia would be a much better choice, but Sabah to see orangutans.

You can find that in Malaysia AND Indonesia so if you can't decide I'd say go to Borneo where you have both countries in the same island Haven't been in the Indonesian side, Kalimantan, but Sarawak, on the Malaysian side is great for wildlife (Semengoh, Gunung Gading, Bako) and Sabah has amazing islands and diving spots.
