Wondering peoples experiences with piriton?

Hello! Allergy advice. My dog is on Apoquel which usually always relieves her itchiness but this year nothing seems to be working so at the moment she has sore paws mainly!

Wondering peoples experiences with piriton? I will call my vets before using however before I do that wondering if people have had good experiences with it for dogs with allergies?

Vet: Reports all over the US that pollen counts are at all time highs. You will need to expand your approach or things will continue to get worse as our weather patterns are changing as well. Might start focusing on resolving the allergies by feeding a healthy diet that promotes healthy gut, work on healing the gut and immune system and treat symptoms using natural remedies instead of drugs that continue to damage the system. You might add some Quercitin and/or nettles to help with the itching from the seasonal allergies. A body soak with an oatmeal rinse will also soothe the skin and reduce itching.
