We were quoted $45k for remodel which was not in the budget or plans for our not forever home so we opted for:

2pak resurfacing (professionally done) $3.5k, in snowy mountains half

New induction cooktop (Westinghouse), Undermount sink (Buildmat avisa in gunmetal) and faucet (Buildmat Mira in brushed brass) $2200

YDL Rosemee stone bench $6k

Tiles $180, $650 labour

Electrician and plumbing fees $800

Hardware from luxterior approx $400

Installing fixed range ourselves later in the week.

Floating floors and wall painting (snowy mtn quarter) completed last year after we moved in. Very happy with the end result in our 90s suburban home!

I have the same door profiles, which I thought were just tooooo dated to paint … you’ve made me think again🤔 😁
Great job!

Looks great.
Any reason you didn't replace oven?
We did similar with our rental property few years ago to 80s kitchen build, we were fortunate to have marble bench tops so obviously kept them.

Great kitchen update! Where do you live? I’m looking for a recommendation in Melbourne.

Fantastic transformation! I'm looking at Rosemee stone now for my kitchen. It looks a nice white in your pics, yet my sample it looks more cream. Please tell me it's more white than cream?

Wow! That's awesome! I have the same layout even down to the Yellow cream walls and tiles you have inspired me to get some quotes as I am on the Gold Coast

Wow!! Incredible transformation!!
You also get the award for the best breakdown of costs!! I love a post where this is all laid out, so a million questions don’t need to be asked as it is all there.

Love it, what a fabulous transformation! I am wondering where you got your benchtop? I am wanting white and that price seems quite reasonable? Was that installation included? I also love the hardware, where is Luxterior? I’m in The Bay and down in Newy a lot.
