There are several that are fine, Dr. Earth's, Espoma, Fox Farm, Neptune, but it's probably just as important to match up the NPK numbers with the needs of your plants at whatever stage they're at. Heavy nitrogen fertilizer will promote healthy leaf growth, but sometimes not needed as an example.

Stop wasting time and money. Have your soil testing at your local Cooperative Extension Office. That will tell you exactly what is needed.

The best fertilizer for my garden is Ammonium Phosphate 16-20-0. That's because my desert soil is pH 7.2 and already has plenty of calcium, magnesium, and potassium. Soil tests are the only way to know which amendments (if any) you should use. Your county agricultural extension office can help you.
